Danish sound house, ICEpower, releases new interactive website for the audio enhancement software, ICEsound. 

Søborg, Denmark, 1st October 2017: With ICEsound installed in portable electrical devices from major brands like ASUS and Samsung, Danish sound house, ICEpower, has released a new interactive website. One of the main goals of the website is to make information about the software product easily accessible for customers and end users. The website’s interactive functionalities are also a way of supporting ICEpower’s clients in their B2C marketing.

ICEpower, the Danish innovation-based sound house, releases new main website with webshop and client portal. 

Søborg, Denmark, 1st October 2017: Since the buy-out from famous hi-fi electronic-brand, Bang & Olufsen, ICEpower has been on a journey towards independency and brand singularity. With the release of the new main website, ICEpower has taken a huge step in that direction. The site also contains a webshop where clients easily can purchase products and samples using different credit card solutions. 

As a high-tech B2B company providing advanced electronic components to the music industry among others, ICEpower has had several overall goals with the new website. Besides creating a new visual identity, which blends the music world and ICEpower’s tech approach, it has been of paramount concern to make information access easy for customers and customer’s customers.

ICEpower is merging with Audio Bricks and acquiring Bolecano

The 2 Founders of Audio Bricks, and prior Founders of respectively Anaview AB, Patrik Boström and Upcon Technology A/S, Lars Press Petersen will continue their carriers as Chief Technology Officers of ICEpower.

From September 1st, 2016 Patrik Boström holds the position as CTO, Amplification, and Lars Press Petersen holds the position as CTO, Research and SMPS in ICEpower.

On May 1st, 2016 Keld Lindegaard Andersen, CEO and Mads Emil Solgaard, VP, Sales & Marketing together with the private equity fund, Industry Development acquired ICEpower A/S from Bang & Olufsen A/S.
Patrik Boström and Lars Press Petersen have now become partners and shareholders of ICEpower in line with Keld, Mads Emil and Industry Development.

The reason for this merger is that Lars, Patrik, Mads Emil and Keld wish to ascertain that we are the best independent Class D sound house in the world for our customers. We see the merger as a step towards consolidating this position.
All activities in ICEpower and in the Bolecano company and under the Audio Bricks brand will continue as business as usual.This is the best possible news for anybody working together with either ICEpower, Bolecano or the new brand Audio Bricks.
There is only one difference: Together we are so much stronger. ICEpower has some of the best class d and audio acoustic engineers in the world. Adding the expertise of Lars and Patrik, their knowledge and technologies to ICEpower makes our combined team stand out.

This idea is not new. ICEpower and Anaview were founded at the beginning of this century. Patrik founded Anaview in 2001 in Sweden only two years after ICEpower was founded in Denmark.
We share the same ideas on development of quality sound by technology and combining technologies to reach our goals. Already in the early zeroes we worked together, became friends and discussed how we could join forces. The timing is right for all of us now.
Lars is also an old friend of the house. Lars held the position as Innovation Manager in ICEpower from 2003 to 2007. Welcome home to Lars and Patrik.

Lars is an innovator and power supply specialist. Patrik, BSc, Electrical Engineering is born into™ audio. Patrik has developed amplifiers and power supplies for OEM automotive, after market automotive, high end, consumer, home theatre, sound reinforcement, rolling stock etc.Together Lars and Patrik have invented an impressive number of important patents within Class D power electronics and audio.

ICEpower Management and the Danish private equity fund Industry Development has acquired ICEpower A/S with a 50% / 50% ownership.

This is a fantastic opportunity to the benefit of our customers, says CEO of ICEpower A/S, Keld Lindegaard Andersen. On June 1st, 2012 we changed the name from Bang & Olufsen ICEpower A/S to ICEpower A/S since that day we have been preparing for a future in which we would leave the Bang & Olufsen Group in order to become independent. We are now as independent as we can possible become. At the same time, we have the best possible partner one can find in Denmark amongst private equity partners.

Industry Udvikling is all about developing small and medium-sized industry companies with a long-term scope.Industri Udvikling was formed in 1994 with the object of setting up a private equity company that was to invest in small and medium-sized Danish manufacturing companies. Industri Udvikling invests primarily in Danish manufacturing companies with sales up to DKK 400 million, with the aim of developing the companies over a number of years. There is no fixed timeframe for how long a company should remain in the ownership of Industri Udvikling.

The goal for the ICEpower management team and Industri Udvikling is to develop ICEpower further and consolidate its position as a leader in class d audio power conversion. ICEpower will continue to provide class D audio solutions to manufacturers of professional and consumer audio products. The ICEpower management team will own 50% of the company and so will Industri Udvikling (50%).

ICEpower and MartinLogan collaborate on Purity – the world’s first fully active hybrid electrostatic loudspeaker

Purity, internally powered by ICEpowerASC200, allows an unprecedented level of system connection flexibility. Equipped with a standard RCA line-level input, Purity is able to connect directly to devices such as digital music players, flat screen televisions or even computers. Additional speaker level inputs also allow Purity to function in a more traditional receiver or pre-amp equipped 2-channel or home theatre system. Both MartinLogan and ICEpower are highly aware of the importance of the environmental impact of their products: as a leader in green manufacturing, MartinLogan was one of the first US manufacturers to be fully compliant with the European Union’s WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) laws and regulations. Purity is the third product of MartinLogan to have incorporated ICEpower solutions: the Summit and Vantage active loudspeakers of the ESL Series are also by ICEpower200ASC solutions.
Introduced in January 2005, the Summit electrostat by MartinLogan significantly raised the bar for high-performance audio.
